At JACOB, we have established concrete measures to do our part for the environment by reducing our impact.

REDUCE: We Reduce Our Energy Consumption
All JACOB stores are now lit with energy-efficient light bulbs that use almost two times less energy than traditional light bulbs and last much longer.

REUSE: We Encourage the Use of Reusable Bags
JACOB has been offering customers chic and trendy reusable bags since 2006. In 2010, we replaced our plastic bags by paper bags containing 40% post-consumer recycled content.

We also participate in special events to promote the use of reusable bags, such as Earth Day and Bag-free days organised by municipalities and shopping malls.

RECYCLE: We Recycle Our Computer Equipment
All of our outdated or broken computer equipment is sent to Recyc-Ordi, a company that recycles raw materials in order to keep electronic waste out of landfills and reintegrate salvageable components into the production cycle.
