Helping others never goes out of style

Since our very beginnings, JACOB has been actively involved in the community by supporting several causes related to women and children’s health and education.

Whether by encouraging our employees to volunteer or by making monetary or material donations to charitable organisations, we are proud to support our community.

TOGETHER TO END WOMEN'S CANCERS
In fall 2009, JACOB engaged in a long-term partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society to support research for breast and cervical cancer. Thanks to the launch of our JACOB CARE all-natural lip gloss and our JACOB wants to beat the panties off cervical cancer campaign, we have raised $35,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.

REBUILDING HAITI, ONE T-SHIRT AT A TIME
When a devastating earthquake hit Haiti in January 2010, JACOB was compelled to get involved. Through a partnership with Oxfam, JACOB supported reconstruction efforts in the country by selling a specially designed t-shirt and donating 100% of the sale price to Oxfam. We proudly raised over $125,000.

GIVE YOUR CLOTHES A NEW LEASE ON LIFE
Every year, JACOB combines environmental protection and social responsibility by donating more than 10 000 items of clothing to various organisations that run work reintegration programs for underprivileged women across the country.

Our major partners in Quebec are Renaissance, Fringues & Cie from the YWCA Montreal and the Women’s Centre of Montreal. Goodwill is the most important recipient throughout the rest of Canada.

As entrepreneurs, we are glad to support initiatives that supply those in need with basic tools to build themselves a better future.

SOCIAL CONSCIENCE, A COMMON VALUE
Driven by a strong social conscience, our employees join forces in support of various causes that are important to them all year long.

During the Holiday season, employees from Head Office play Santa Claus by granting the wishes of struggling families in Montreal.

When the seasons change, our employees go through their closets to donate business attire they no longer wear to work reintegration programs.
